BoxUnion understands the importance of privacy, and we want you to be as comfortable as possible using our BoxUnion Website, BoxUnion App and other services (collectively, the “Site”). We may occasionally update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you of the changes through the Stie or through others means, such as email. To the extent permitted under applicable law, by using our Site after such notice, you consent to our updates to this policy. COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION
Information You Provide. We collect certain personal information, such as names, postal and email addresses, credit card information etc., when voluntarily submitted by you to sign up for an account, create your user profile, contact our locations, participate in surveys, contests, or sweepstakes, and posting on our social media accounts. The information you provide is used to fulfill your specific request, to improve the experience on our BoxUnion Website and BoxUnion App, and to ensure a successful experience at BoxUnion. We may use your email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding BoxUnion. You may elect not to receive these emails by following opt-out instructions. BoxUnion reserves the right to send you important notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.
Information Automatically Collected. BoxUnion may also log non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users of the site. This data is used to manage the BoxUnion Website and BoxUnion App, track usage and improve the BoxUnion Website and BoxUnion App services. This non-personally- identifiable information may be shared with third parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to users. User IP addresses are also recorded for security and monitoring purposes. We may also record information about your usage, such as when you use the BoxUnion Website and BoxUnion App. If you are logged in, we may associate that information with your account. We may use clear gifs (a.k.a. “web beacons”) in html- based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients.
Closed circuit security cameras. BoxUnion takes safety and security very seriously. For this reason, we use closed circuit security cameras within our facility.
Cookie/tracking technology. This BoxUnion Website or BoxUnion App may use cookie and tracking technology. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the BoxUnion Website or BoxUnion App, and understanding how visitors use the BoxUnion Website and BoxUnion App. Cookies can also help customize our BoxUnion Website and BoxUnion App for visitors. We retain personal information that you provide us as long as we consider it potentially useful in contacting you about our products and services, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business interests. We will delete this information from the servers at an earlier date if you so request by unsubscribing, opting-out, or emailing us at info@boxunion.com. Personal information may be transferred and stored to secure servers in the United States.
Commitment to data security we will keep your personal information secure at all times. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) will have access to this information. All marketing emails and newsletters from the BoxUnion site allow you to opt out of further marketing mailings. We use industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information (such as firewalls and secure sockets layer software) where appropriate. Nevertheless, absolute security does not yet exist on the internet.

- To access, correct, update or request deletion of personal information. Children
We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 13. We do not sell products for purchase by children and all children’s products we sell are for purchase by adults only.
California Privacy Rights
California law permits residents of California pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83 to request certain details about how their information is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. Under the law, a business must either provide this information or permit California residents to opt in to, or opt out of, this type of sharing. BoxUnion permits California residents to opt out of having their information shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes.
