Have you ever had one of those mornings when you wake up late for work, run into your car, and failed to notice the amazingly beautiful sunrise? It’s generally all mornings for most. Life happens and life goes quickly.

Gratitude is a word that has been circulating around the studio A LOT this month. The days where we have the space, both mentally and physically, to take in gratitude, are often the days our lights shine brightest. Not surprisingly, feelings of gratitude actually produce visible health benefits. To quote a few listed on the “Positive Psychology Program” online magazine, gratitude is proven to achieve the following benefits for our body:

·      Reduces blood pressure

·      Enhances our positive emotions

·      Improves sleep

·      Increases your frequency of exercise

·      Reduces impatience and improves decision-making

·      Helps with recovery

In order to truly feel gratitude, we have to choose to be grateful, and it is up to us to allow ourselves time, energy and space to appreciate all the incredible things and people we have around us.

Today and every day, we are grateful for every smiling face that walks in the doors of our studio. We are grateful for every staff member that contributes to our amazing team.  We are grateful to have a community and a team of supportive individuals working together, sweating together, building together, and becoming stronger versions of ourselves together.
